with EMS against the pain in your back

3 warning signs for recognizing and treating back pain.

#1: TIGHT HIP FLEXORS

The first warning sign for recognizing and correcting lower back pain is tight hip flexors. Since the hip flexors attach to the muscles of the lumbar spine, they pull on these muscles, which then manifests as lower back pain. Eliminating tension in the hip flexors will help alleviate any back pain you currently have or may have in the future.

#2: THE gluteal muscles

Weak gluteal muscles mean that the muscles in the lower back have to do extra work, leading to overuse and fatigue of these muscles, which in turn causes lower back pain. A good way to test our gluteal muscles is to assume an overhead position for at least 2 minutes. If you can't hold this position for 2 minutes, you are probably suffering from gluteal weakness. This means that you need to start strengthening your gluteal muscles. Strong glutes directly help to prevent lower back pain.

#3: STAND FOR 20 MINUTES

The third warning sign of lower back pain is the inability to stand for more than 20 minutes without pain, constant movement and no anterior pelvic tilt. If you notice this as a recurring problem, it means that the muscles in your lower back do not have the endurance to hold themselves upright for long periods of time. A vot flexed tilt causes the hip flexors to not only pull on the muscles in the lower back, but also the paraspinal lumbar muscles have to work harder to keep your body upright.
